Children’s Zumba Classes Beginning in Hyannis

24 June 2013

Massachusetts Mentor and the Hyannis Youth and Community Center are teaming up to offer a free Zumba dance and fitness session for children ages 7 and up.  The drop-in program will run weekly beginning June 27th and going through mid-August.  It is designed to get kids moving, dancing and learning about health and wellness.  Each session will end with a 30-minute, fun-filled workshop on topics ranging from nutrition, mind-body connection, relaxation and fitness.

The classes are being run by Ayanna Parrent, who is a clinical supervisor with Massachusetts MENTOR’s Therapeutic Foster Care program, as well as a certified instructor for Zumba, Zumba Toning, and Zumbatomic (for children).  Contact Ayanna to sign up or for more information on the dance sessions.  She can be reached at 508-577-8562 or by email at [email protected].
